Goddess Draping

Draping in one of the oldest techniques since we can remember, and since a few seasons now draping has gotten stronger and stronger... so if you haven’t worn any draping this season I recommend you either look in your closet for some 80’s draping revival, which I’m sure you must have waiting for that special occasion... There’s nothing better than a good vintage, and what better then to explore your closet.

Now, draping is not that simple. Many that do not know fear the fabric and believe it is only for those that are very thin, but to tell you truth draping works its best when it is used to camouflage... The key to wearing a drape dress, skirt, jacket or blouse it all depend on the amount of draping and also where in your body you want to wear it....

If we look at the picture let me give you ideas on who can wear these goddess draping outfits...

Fendi papaya drape, Alice + Olivia,  Vionnet crepe drape blouse can be worn by women that have curvier hips, the draping below is not very exaggerated so what the draping is doing is giving you softer curves.
Lanvin draped, Catherina Malandrino purple drape, YSL green, Donna Karan tulle georgette drape dress these outfits are perfect if you consider yourself to be smaller in your bust. The draping will help create an illusion that you have more...
Brian Reyes lame draped skirt, Willow draped, Karen Millen these are ideal if your upper torso is wider than your hips. The draping in the bottom will give balance to your shape.
